Counting:

The scale counts up to 90 pills per second with a database capacity that allows it to store the UPC codes of the drugs and its unit weights. The feature is very user-friendly with the counting process usually taking only a few seconds to complete. There are 3 simple steps:

 

1. Place the vial on the scale...

        

 

2. Scan the UPC barcode on the bottle.   

     

 

3. Pour the pills into the vial & the scale      

will display the number of pieces.

 

Verification:

The UPC verification feature eliminates potential errors in prescription filling. It ensures that the correct prescription is counted and filled. If your pharmacy software is able to print the UPC barcode on the Rx label, the Rx label barcode can be scanned and compared to the stock bottle barcode.

 

Weighing ingredients for Compounding:

The scale is sensitive to 1 mg. While compounding, the scale stores the weights of each ingredient in its memory and allows the user at any time to tally the recipe.
